What a Wonderful Party for a Wonderful Man

My Dad turned 80 years old last week.  We held a party for him at his residence.  So many family and friends made the long drive to celebrate.  That is a wonderful testament to the type of man my Dad is.  We thank you all for coming and showing Dad how much you care.

We all had a great time especially Dad.  He was a little tired that day but really appreciated seeing everyone.  Dad is an amazing man and a wonderful parent.  I thank God that my Mom and Dad were my parents.  He is a shining example on how to be the best parent you can.  My Dad was a single Dad at a time when you didn't see many Dads alone with their kids.  He raised us to be strong, kind and loving.  We also were taught that humor is a good thing and he was the master.  Thank you Dad!  and Happy Birthday.  Love you.
