This is the view out the front of our cabin. I took it this morning while having my cup of coffee.
We spent alot of time in the water today. We start each day with swimming, break for lunch and naps and then do an afternoon activity if we are awake. We were sleeping yesterday during the Penny Hunt on the beach but were awake today for the Minnow Races. Elizabeth's Minnow was called Speedy but it didn't go fast enough.
Ella's fish was Rosealla (each child named their own fish) and she won her first round but not the second. Ella cried because she wanted to win. Oh well another life lesson for her to live.
After the minnow races, the girls and I played in the Rec Center. Elizabeth beat me at Pool and Ella played with the Jukebox as well as some of the video games. Then we came back and rested.
Ella had to be woken up from her nap so we could go join the group for Taco's. Tracy and Kirsten made a wonderful meal of tacos and extras. Last night Julie and Elizabeth did chicken stir fry and it was delic as well. Thanks guys. Annette and I are doing dinner tomorrow night.
It was raining before dinner and off and on after. We weren't sure if they would have the chicken toss, but they did. We got soaked because it started raining again for the rubber chicken toss. It was so fun. The girls had their rain jackets on and were pretty dry. I was happy that my tshirt was a black one.
Tomorrow is swimming and then there is a carnival going on here. If its not raining, I'll have my camera for sure. I hope we can also get a group picture of the whole crew.
