Vacation Time

I am sitting in our cabin with my feet up watching my girls sleep. Its 10:15 pm after a wonderful first full day here. We got to Train Bell about 5 yesterday after an eventful morning. Thank you again Todd for helping us out. It turns out our battery on the van was dead. Some lights were left on in the van and drained it out. Todd was able to come over and help us out.

Annette and Genevieve got to our house and we loaded their stuff in the van and headed out. After some lunch we were on our way. We made a couple stops and were very excited when we finally got here. We are up here with a great group of friends. There are 6 moms and 7 kids. We are in a small cabin called the Boat House. Annette, Genevieve, Julie, Tess, Elizabeth and Taylan are in one of the condos behind us. And Tracy, Muriel, Kirsten and Elizabeth are in cabin 7.

Most of the group went to the Saturday event at the resort which was to see a movie. We were going to but we decided to go swimming instead. I was so hot and that was the ticket to cool off. The water is so clear and very shallow. And very refreshing.

It was a storm night too but it cooled off very nice.

Today we swam in the morning, played in the sand, did some volley ball with a beach ball, played in the sand some more, ate lunch, rested, had ice cream and relaxed. The resort has a train they built that takes passengers. That was out today. Elizabeth took a ride but Ella was still sleeping. So I hope Ella and I get the ride next time.

We had a wonderful night with a great dinner at Jodi's parents place near by. They were very sweet and all the girls had a great time.

Life is good.

I will post picture too but the battery on my camera is very low. As soon as I get that battery situation fixed, I'll post the pics.

The resort has a wonderful sandy beach meant for sand castles.

We were invited to Jodi's parents for dinner on Sunday night.  It was a wonderful night.  Here the girls are feeding the fish corn.
