Its been a hard week

I have been swamped at work and I am getting very tired of it.  I am hoping my bad mood is not noticeable by my kids.  We seem to be doing ok mood wise between the three of us.  So I am either in denial or things are really normal for our family time.  Its been really busy getting stuff for school but that's been fun.

Today I have finally been given some dedicated time to test my issues for my clients.  So I better not take long on the blog but I had to update.

When I got back from our team meeting today I checked my cell for messages.  When I read the one I got from daycare I laughed so loud I think the whole floor heard me.  I really needed that chuckle.  And every time I think of the message I smile.  I will have to tell Ella THANK YOU!

Here is the Text:
From Beth:
OMG an ambulance just went by and ella said a hail mary.

My reply:
To Beth:
Oh I really needed that chuckle.

Now the back story:
Ever since I can remember, I have said Hail Mary when I hear a siren.  I ask God to watch the ambulance drivers and passengers so everyone gets the help they need.  I started saying it out loud at some point and Elizabeth heard it.  Now when she hears a siren she says "Mom, say the prayer" and we now pray for fire trucks, ambulances and police.  So, I guess Ella is carrying on the prayer as well.

This just made my day.  Thank you Jesus for my girls.

I also got a bittersweet feeling because starting on Wednesday next week, I won't be getting these quick pictures into my daughter's day.  Ella will be in all day Kindergarten and her teacher won't be texting me these cute moments.  So, I will enjoy these all the more.
