End of the Week

Whew

So far so good.

I sorta of wonder if the other shoe will drop.

Elizabeth is doing great managing social interactions and how to deal with other girls.  She has always known how to deal with the boys but girls are different.  And So Far So Good.

Ella is LOVING school.  She is enjoying herself and meeting new people and can't wait to go to school.  The Aftercare coordinator told me yesterday that Isabella is fitting right in.  This was after she said good by to Elizabeth and Isabella and Ella walked back and gave Marsha a hug.  Luckily Ella does remember her real name is Isabella even though we just say Ella.  :-)

Yesterday and Today they took the bus to school and it worked out great.  Yesterday due to the rain the bus was late at the pick up spot.  It had a trickle down effect as well. All the kids were late for school.  I wonder if that is why it was 5 minutes early today.  Which also had a trickle down effect for me.  I was at my office building by 7:50 am... that's right... 10 minutes EARLY. 

So, I feel pretty good about school as well. 

I am going to leave work a little early so I can do grocery shopping without kids (oh the joy) and then pick up my scholars.  We will then find a Red Box so the girls can pick a movie and we will have a good old fashioned movie night at home. 

This weekend is short on planned activities and I am excited.

Saturday we have a birthday party to go to as well as a possible play date after that.  Sunday is church with Dad and nothing else.  Monday we are going to the State Fair. 

I can just feel my muscles relaxing from no running around.  Deep Sigh of Contentment.

UPDATE 4:50pm.
I guess the shoe dropped.... a client called with a priority 1 issue and the coworker that got the case asked for my help.  So no alone time at the Grocery Store for me. :-)
