Oh What Fun

Last week the girls were able to wear their Halloween Costumes for a Parade at school.  The only rule was the costume had to be based on a character in a book.

Ella decided to be a Pink Fairy Butterfly Princess.  Thankfully we found a Barbie book that has pretty much the same get up.

Elizabeth picked out an awesome costume and both girls called her the Spider Queen.  I had a horrible time trying to find a book that was age appropriate with that as the search term.  There are some questionable cartoons of the adult variety with that name.  So, we decided for the one day at school Elizabeth's outfit was based on a witch.  I didn't tell her the details of the book search, just that there were none for Spider Queens.  She thought maybe she could bring Itty Bitty Spider but I talked her into Wizard of Oz.

Then on Sunday after a fun weekend with Grandma Jo, Uncle Jerry, Madi and Shelby, we met friends for the annual Boo Bash on Grand Ave.  It's always fun getting together and seeing all the costumes.

Only a few more days until the Big Event.  I hope the weather turns around and is not so windy for the Trick or Treaters.  But winter is on its way.
