Because the girls wouldn't get up in time yesterday, I told them the alarms were going to be set for now. So, I was down in the basement folding clothes this morning when I hear steps. Elizabeth came down all bothered. "My alarm is going off and Ella is still snoring"
When I went up, Ella was snoring and the alarm was still beeping. I turned on the light in the room and still no change in Ella. Then the second alarm went off, still no change. Elizabeth was upstairs again and offered to shake the bed. "I can do that really good Mom" Ok, go for it. We ended up having to pull the covers off Ella. She then said "I Tired, I'm Cold, My heart is breaking"
But then Elizabeth offered to help her get ready after she was done doing her own stuff. We all went downstairs and there was time to organize lunches and back packs. Ella even did some drawing. Its a surprise for me. She hid it in the cutting board slide outs we have.
At school Elizabeth asked me to let them know if I ended up late for work. I'll make sure to tell her I was 2 minutes early.
Love you girls. I'll still love you when you are teenagers and still hating the alarm clocks.
