We have been at home since the snow hit. Last total I heard was 17.1 inches but I think its more. Since we had great help from a neighbor yesterday, I didn't shovel again until today. But, for the first time ever, I was able to get my beast of a snowblower started. The electric starter is shot but since Pat G got it started yesterday, that primed it up I guess because after a few tries, I was able to get it going today. So, our sidewalks and driveway are all clear but the alley as well as the streets around us are not plowed. After I got done with cleaning up the snow, I came in and told the girls the bad news. There would be no going to Disney on Ice for us. I had checked earlier and the show was still scheduled so I am sure I won't get any refund but I'll try. Instead we got our warm clothes on and went for a walk. The girls loved it. They got to walk in the street over piles and piles of snow plus we stopped at Patina and Starbucks. 99% of the people were friendly, just one snooty coffee shop worker.

Elizabeth walking down the middle of our street. This is where the girls understood why were were not going to Disney on Ice today.
Big old pile of snow and the snow plows have not come through yet. Wow.
Elizabeth counting her money so she could figure out what she wanted to buy at the store.
Ella enjoying a cookie and hot cocoa.
Elizabeth enjoying her cookie and cocoa too.

I'm sorry you missed Disney on Ice. Your day of St. Paul on SNOW looked very fun. Cheers for making the best of a snowy situation.
