The girls and I got home from China today about 1 pm. Grandma Jo surprised the girls by meeting us at the airport. It was sweet to hear their surprised voices saying GRANDMA!!! Then we went to visit my Dad and I was very happy to see him. I didn't call him the 2 plus weeks we were away so it was good to touch bases with my Dad. Grandma then brought us home after a quick stop at the DQ for a sweet treat. Thanks for picking us up Joanne! Love you.
After Grandma left, we stayed outside for a bit and then the girls watched TV while I made a few phone calls. My goal was to keep us up until 8 and then I thought maybe 7. Well we all hit the wall about 5:00 and went to my room. The girls watched a little more tv but I think we were all asleep by 5:30pm. I woke first and it was light out... I thought maybe we had slept through the night....LOL But, it was 8:30 pm, not am... Now we have had a gourmet meal of Mac and Cheese with a side of strawberries and carrots and I had a turkey and cheese sandwich. A wonderful friend left us some groceries for us today so we are set! Thank you Margaret. We are still enjoying our late night snack in my bed and watching some tv but I expect we will be sleeping again soon.

It was a wonderful and sweet trip back to China but we are all very happy to be home again.
