Jetlag bites

We have had struggles with jet lag since we got home.  I can't believe it but it is midnight on Friday and we are still up.  We end up taking naps in the afternoon and they just end up being a tiny bit too long.  So, today I decided to accept the kind invitation to go to the lake.  It has been hot and really muggy so I thought that would do the trick.  The girls stayed awake for the 1 1/2 hour drive there and had a complete blast jumping in the lake.  It is one of those lakes that are green around the edges so we took the pontoon out to the middle and let the kids swim and play.  Both girls had their life jackets on and loved it.  Elizabeth was rocking the jumping and Ella got the hang of it too.  I didn't bring the camera though so you will just need to take my word for it.

About 3 pm Ella was getting tired (so was I)  So, Ella, Samantha and I took naps.  I woke up after an hour or so and Samantha was up in 2 hours.  Ella slept 3 or close to 4.  I tried waking her but only the incoming storm got her to wake up.  The temperture outside dropped 20 degrees at least.

We stayed until the storm passed and drove home.  Elizabeth fell asleep before we hit WI HWY 8 and slept the whole way home.  Now they have had a snack and we will try sleeping.  I did buy some Melatonine for me to try tonight.  I hope it works.  Not sure what to do for the girls but I am thankful I am not back at work yet.

Tomorrow we are going swimming at a local lake with other friends so maybe I can tire my girls out!

Here are some of my favorite pictures from China.

Love the pictures. It is so hard to get back on schedule coming home. It was wonderful watching your trip. Hope this week isn't too bad for the transition.
