It is not my fault :-)

I am well known among a certain group of friends as not being able to handle scary movies.  I refuse to watch them.  One of the ones I refuse to watch is Gremlins... the blender scene was in the ads so I refuse to watch.  I don't care that my friends say it is a "kids" movie, I won't watch it.

Yesterday the girls watched a movie at S'more Fun (summer care rec center).  Elizabeth loved it and said it was really good.  Ella said it was scary.  She even plugged her ears when her big sister explained the scary parts to me.

So, I asked Andy (staff member at S'more Fun) what the name of the movie was.  It was Agent Cody Banks.

We told Andy how Ella was scared, so scared she had to sleep with me last night.  ;-) Andy agreed there was probably a scary part for the littlest kids.  But, then I told Andy - a man I highly respect - that I told the girls I could not watch a movie called Gremlins when I was younger.  Guess What?  He couldn't either.  So, I am vindicated.  :-)  

Elizabeth wants to buy this movie but Ella said NOOOOOOOOOOO.  So I told her I would add it to the list "Don't buy this movie until Ella is 15"   She said, no not until I am 20 Mom.

So - It's not my fault she doesn't like scary movies.  I just think its another example of God's wonderful Hand in putting Ella and I together. 

And to my friends that make fun of me for not watching Gremlins - Andy doesn't like it either.   LOL  And it is on my list to not buy or watch until Mom is 80!
