That is what I heard alot of this morning.
That and "What are you doing?"
I was taking the 2nd Graders Art Work down off the walls for the Art Teacher.
Then I was sorting colored construction paper from the variety packs into stacks of the same color.
It was a fun hour and a half.
The best part - seeing Ella two extra times at school.
If Elizabeth was still on the first floor, I would have seen her too. (But 3rd - 6th grade are on the second floor).
The next best part - seeing my daughters' friends and teachers and just listening to the kids.
Some girls even tried to kid me/play me. I was doing my paper task in the hall on top of the low lockers by the girls bathroom. Two girls went in to the bathroom and were getting silly. I didn't say anything at first but school had already started so I figured I would help out. So I asked them "Do you girls need help?" Two of them said no and the third said yes (not sure where the 3rd came from) So I asked if they knew where their rooms were - again I got two yeses and one no and the one saying no was whispering to her friends. So then I said, "I bet the front office knows, should we head there?" And then all 3 got quiet and went to their rooms - upstairs... so they were in third grade or higher. :-)
Then at 9:30 I left school with a box of more paper to sort at home. And headed to work. Today I am working 10 am to 7 pm so it was nice to be able to volunteer at school for a little bit. And thank you again Reenie... I appreciate all the help you give me with my girls.
Picture post coming soon. Friday is picture day and the girls want curly hair... we tested it Monday night and they were really cute Tuesday AM. They also start Girl Scouts at school on Friday. Thankfully it is during the regular scheduled After Care time so it won't affect our family time much. I guess until the campouts. :-)
