98.5% Ready

If the guy shows up to haul the trash and leaves away, that will bring us up to 100% ready.

Our first (hopefully only) Open House is today.

Now it is in the hands of the good people the come through and God.  I really pray the house sells fast.  I will miss this home and neighborhood but I need to have more time with my girls. (And I really don't count time in van driving to and fro as that is not face to face conversations)

In no time they will be teenagers and won't want to spend too much time with me.  I am hoping the new house is a gathering spot so I can still have a huge influence. 

This weekend Elizabeth and I had a talk about what happened at Penn State.  I will have a modified talk with Ella.  I don't want to keep things from Ella but right now she is very anxious about different things and I think the same talk with Ella will add to her anxiety.  I'll tell her that its not always strangers that hurt kids but it could be people you know and even people your parents may know. If it feels wrong or funny or scarey, tell me, tell a teacher, tell the police.  That is pretty much what I told Elizabeth but we also talked about how this coach hurt kids and how he got away with it for so long.
