Friday Night Movie Night

Since Ella had a cold and it felt like I may be getting it too I decided a quiet night watching a movie would be just what the doctor ordered.  We picked up dinner and went downstairs to pick a movie from NetFlicks off the Wii.

There were two rules, it had to be a movie no one had seen before and if someone said no, keep looking.

Well... the girls had a hard time.  Both were saying no to each other's choices.  So, I took the remote.  I was getting alot of nos too.  So, I just picked one.

Thunderhead, Son of Flicka - from 1945.   LOL  We liked it but it kind of made the girls nervous.  There were a couple of fight scenes between horses that were pretty powerful but not gorey.

Wonder if they will let me pick the next one.

Look at how young Roddy McDowell is.  Yikes
The next night they watched Kung Fu Panda 2 again.  I don't know who fell asleep first, me or Elizabeth but at 7:30 when it was done Ella said "Mom, the movie is done" and we all went to bed.  I didn't fall asleep again until 9:30 but it was a good night of sleep for the girls.

Elizabeth left her Author Study poster at school on Friday so I'll take a picture later.

Head's up - the girls are selling Girl Scout Cookies this year.  If you live in the Twin Cities, let me know and we will deliver.
