Elizabeth's Gymnastics Gym had a fun night last night instead of practice. They had a mini Olympics. They did events such has how fast you can climb the ropes, how high you can jump, number of chin ups, cartwheels on the beam, balance on the bar, and leg lifts. Elizabeth did her personal best on the rope. She pulled an 18 which was 3 higher than her last one. And even though she is very afraid of trying cartwheels without the cushions, she tried it. She didn't connect on any but kept getting back up and trying. And she showed a good attitude. Her team took second place so now she has her first gymnastics medal. :-) It is now hanging in her room with her other medal - from TBall.
One of the moms went up in the viewing spot and took this picture. The coaches put the girls in the right spots and the picture turned out great. Elizabeth is the top of the S. The mom that took the picture also sent it to Kare11. It is on their Facebook page and made it to the "Before you go" at the end of last night's broadcast. I got it on DVR and will show the girls later. They were deep in sleep when it came on.
