I stopped to give thanks to God for my blessings this weekend.
Friday I picked the girls up at my Dad's. Joanne had brought them in so she could visit with Dad. I was able to leave work early so after we left Dad's, the girls and I went shopping. They were looking for the coolest Halloween costumes and we ended up in Woodbury at a large Halloween store. Check out the inflatable pumpkin:
We were successful and Elizabeth and Ella will be in awesome outfits on Halloween as well as the school's Story Parade the same day. Reenie met us for dinner as well.
Saturday was gymnastics and hang at home day.
Elizabeth did more of her homework - Ella got hers done at Joannes. We also cleaned the house some, played a game of Sorry and made brownies. After the brownies were out of the oven we went out to rake the back yard. Unfortunately the dogs in the neighborhood have been hopping our fence and leaving their poop. I picked up all I could find but the girls still didn't want to jump in the pile of leaves. I was in full support of that decision. But, the three of us worked as a good team and raked up 12 bags. Great job! After dinner, we watched a movie we had picked up that day. Well, they watched and I snored through the first half. When we went to bed I thanked God for such a great day. We all were happy and tired and life doesn't get much better than that.
Sunday we went to church with Dad and then Elizabeth did her Science homework. From there we went to Ella's swimming lesson. After that was done, Ella, Elizabeth and I went to an apple orchard. It was a day full of blessings. The weather was perfect, the girls were having a blast and I was enjoying it too.
Thank you for an amazing day sweet girls. I am glad you picked out your pumpkins and were able to jump and play and chill. Thank you Jesus for blessing me with these girls and for a perfect Fall day.
