Last weekend we went shopping and bought jeans for the girls. We got them at a used clothing store. We also found a cute dress that Elizabeth loved. So, I said sure - it was $7.00 why not. And then I remembered picture day was coming so perfect.
Ella has a pink chinese style dress that she was going to wear.
Tuesday Elizabeth tried on her "highheels" and they didn't fit - of course.
Ella decided they fit her... but then they didn't go with the dress so now she needed a new dress. None of her sister's dresses were her style... bummer.
So, last night we went shopping. I was hoping it would be quick. It wasn't. LOL
Went to the used clothing store - nada
Went to Target - nada and to be honest the clothes were a tad inappropriate in my opinion... I actually thought they were Halloween costumes.
So then we went to Marshalls and scored. Ella found a dress and it fit and it was on sale. After she tried it on, Elizabeth asked if she could get the same for pictures. I let Ella decide. She was ok with it. But we still didn't have shoes for Elizabeth. After purchasing the dresses we went to Famous Footwear and found THE BOOTS Elizabeth was hoping for and they were on sale too.
So, here they are all in their matching glory:
Ella - 2nd Grade 7 years old. She added some jewels to the preattached necklace as well as a bracelet from last year's teacher. "I just want to look special for pictures Mom" Oh... you look Beautiful!
Elizabeth - 5th Grade 10 years old. I love your sense of style Elizabeth. Those boots were made for you. Keep your beautiful smile!

Joan--Now you need to get a matching dress for yourself and you're all set for your Christmas Card Photo! :-)
The girls are both stunning and I love how they each made the outfit "theirs" with a great sense of style. I hope the pictures turn out to be as beautiful as the girls!
