Elizabeth is back competing in gymnastics. I wrote back a few months ago that she was changing to team from park and rec. They said she didn't have to compete and they gave her no pressure to change her mind. Because Elizabeth was given time to think it through, she decided she wanted to try. This picture was from the first meet which was at her home gym. It was a great experience for her with less pressure. She loved it and had fun. That was all I needed to hear! Proud of you Elizabeth for getting back on that horse and for you listening to your heart and going for it! Way to go!
Ella was my buddy at the meet as usual. Thanks for hanging out with me.
Such grace!
Like our cat? We thought Rosie was a girl when we got her in November. Turns out we were all wrong and he is a boy. But, he doesn't care what his name is as long as we play with him and feed him, he is happy. Ella was a bit sad he wasn't a girl but then realized he didn't change and was the same Rosie. Welcome to our family Mr. Rosie.
Here is Elizabeth at her second meet for Highland. I don't remember if this was for vault or bars. But she got her first First place medal. What I see is the smile and joy. She had three meets this year and enjoyed them all. Can't wait to see what next year brings!
