Last night at skating, Ella spent time with Lily. Lily is the older sister of Ping. Ping is one of the girls from Elizabeth's travel group. We all have stayed close and get together a few times a year. The moms actually get together a bit more. We also went back to China together on our heritage trip a few years ago. I remember seeing many examples of the sweet friendship Ella and Lily have during that trip and was reminded last night what a blessing it is.
Normally we don't see Lily until after Ella's skating time as Lily is on the skating team and her ice time is different. But, last night she was on the ice when Ella had her free skate time. I loved seeing the girls chatting and skating. Ella said that Lily gave her great tips. She gives us all so much more. She is another big sister in this adoption journey and I love her so.
