Happy Birthday Ella

Ella - you are 10 years old today!  Double Digits.... I can't believe it!   This birthday has been a big one for Miss Ella.  She was saying she can't wait to be 10 and every day this week she was saying, this is the last day I am 9.   Love you whatever age sweet girl!

A funny also - a couple of days ago, Ella said when I am 10 I will only have 8 more years to be a kid. I found that funny and a little sad.  Ella is a worrier and we talk about it all the time.  I will continue to help her look at different ways to look at life and hope she keeps finding a balance.   It can't be easy to be a worrier.  I know I worry about some things but she tops me.

She also wrote a poem/essay about life.  I'll add it to this post later today - I just don't have it handy right now.

I love you sweet Ella

I love your sweet heart and loving nature - I remember when you came home from China and you were very fierce.  I am so proud of you that you feel our love and know you are safe and you let your light show!

I love your bravery.  It wasn't easy being bullied or changing schools but you did it with strength and kindness!

I love how you research about endangered animals and am glad you put the pictures on my phone and share their stories with me.

I love seeing you and Elizabeth continue to change in your relationship and do sister stuff - keep it going girls.   I always wished I had a sister.   :-)

Family - its the cornerstone to our life!
