Yesterday was too.
We are doing a spring staycation of sorts.
Yesterday was errands, eye appointments and seeing a movie with friends. We saw the new Cinderella. Great movie and made me realize that Elizabeth and I gave Ella the right name. See the movie but if you know Ella, you will see she is Courageous and Kind. I also told Elizabeth that I am the Easter Bunny. She wanted to go shopping with me and I had to explain why I needed to do it myself. I was surprised that she didn't know already. I guess her belief is deep. She also asked who eats the eggs and carrots they leave every year. I said that maybe the Easter Bunny did and I just bought the stuff for him to find.
Today we picked up the ham for Sunday and went rollerskating. Can't believe I did it but I did. I was not graceful or pretty but Ella was. Elizabeth wasn't going to go because she wasn't comfortable skating but she joined us. She was our picture taker. Ella rocked the garden with her skating. I was happy I didn't fall. The girls then played in the arcade to earn prize tickets. They did great. They both got great prizes.
After we got home I went out with one of my best friends. It was a great evening with Mary. I am so blessed to have such a great friend. Thank you Mary for the great time tonight. We had a great time talking and relaxing. I still remember when we moved in all those years ago and how lucky we all were to be in the best neighborhood.
Easter is coming and we are hosting. Elizabeth thought it would be nice to make something Grandpa would like so we are making brownies tomorrow.
