Here it is August 14th. Ella has PE Tube surgery scheduled for tomorrow. So its her first surgery with me in tow. Its Ella's second surgery thought. She had her lip repaired in China. I am a little nervous because its surgery. I am keeping good thoughts and am pretty relaxed tonight. The surgery is at Gillette Childrens with Dr. Listen. Our good friend Todd is picking us up at 6 am and staying with me while Ella is in surgery. Its a 15 minute procedure so we are hopeful we will be back before Todd has to leave for Fargo for work. Thanks Todd! You are a rock and I really appreciate it.
The other first is Elizabeth is on her first ever sleep over at a friend's house. My daycare provider offered to take Elizabeth tonight since Ella's procedure is at 8 am tomorrow and check in is 6:30. Elizabeth was all for that. She is great friends with Beth's daughter Sydney and was really looking forward to this. She knows that Ella is going to the doctor's tomorrow and that she is getting tubes in her ears. But, she doesn't realize the sleep over was due to that. I think that is great. She gets her own accomplishment while Ella and I have a quiet night.
