Nice Weekend

Friday our friend Reenie came over to do her taxes. She was a trooper... Ella had her dolled up in hats and necklaces... bummer I didn't get it on film. Thanks for always being so kind to my girls Reenie.

Saturday was a WHIRLWIND

10 am Gymnastics for Ella. Stayed and played a little with Eli and Lucy (friends from daycare that go to the same place for gymnastics)
11:30 am ran home to get the BD present, beverages, snack, and cupcakes for another party.
12 am - arrived at Chuck E Cheese for Party number 1 - Birthday Party for Sophie (Eliz's friend from school) Had a blast in the pizza / prize heaven. Elizabeth did great. She shot one of the tokens into a hole in the top of the castle and got 180 tickets. She just keep saying the tickets won't stop mom, please help. :-) Ella couldn't get enough of the place either. She looked in her token cup and said, its not filled up mom. No taking her to Vegas with those expectations.
2:15 pm - left prize mecca to head across town for another party. This one was single moms and moms to be and their kids. It was an early St Patty's party. My great idea was to drive around while the girls napped. It was 30 minutes to the party or 30 minutes to home and then no nap time. Well my girls slept for 30 minutes and didn't go back to sleep no matter where I drove. LOL But, the party was great. Thanks Michelle! Great Company and Great Food.
9 pm - in bed exhausted with the hope the girls would sleep in. I fell asleep between 10 and 10:30

Sunday
7:30 am - everyone woke up. That is sleeping in these days.
Then I made breakfast and cleaned the house. We met up with Grandma Jo and Uncle Jerry at Poppas and had a wonderful visit. Then we went to Todd's Mom and Dad's Todd and his dad are making maple syrup this year. The first batch was delic!. But, I picked on Todd too much so I don't get any from this batch. ;-)
Then we headed home. Elizabeth sorta fell asleep in the car but perked up when we got home and she saw all the neighbors out. She changed into boots and Ella grabbed the top off the sandbox and play away they did. Todd stopped at the store and brought over supper. That was really nice - Thanks Todd.
Bath for the girls after supper and then bed.

Monday
3 am Ella woke up with a tummy ache. I put her in my bed and she fell right back to sleep. Unfortunately I could not. I tried for over an hour and then just gave up and read blogs and then made coffee. Today I have a doctors appt to review my thyroid. I still have no energy and am tired all the time. Now I wake up multiple times in the night. Usually I have no problem going back to sleep. So, I am glad to be going in to have this checked out. I need my sleep. :-)
