Ella has an alarm clock. We don't use it on a daily basis but I got it because the girls were very crabby in the mornings. I thought if they woke up a little earlier than I needed them to that just maybe they would wake up enough to get rid of the crabbies and get ready without fighting. We haven't had to use it in a very long time. Last night Ella asked me to turn her clock on. Her face this morning is telling me she may not like it much anymore. I heard the alarm go off and off and off and off..... and then I heard little feet. Ella figured out how to turn it off and is snuggling with me right now. It could be the tail end of her fever as well - But I really wish I had a picture of the face I saw when she came downstairs. I bet there is no request to turn the alarm on tonight. :-)
Ella and I stayed home yesterday because on Tuesday Ella woke up from her nap with a fever. I was working from home that afternoon because my day care provider was sick. Ella's fever got to be about 101 so I was concerned. She did take meds and it came down. She woke up yesterday morning with a fever still. This time it was 100.3. I got her in to the doctor to find out its nothing. She didn't have a fever at the office (good meds at 6am) and the quick strep came back negative. But in March Ella had an ear infection and then she had Strep on her birthday and now another fever. All of this from a little girl that rarely got sick. So I wanted to check with the doctor. She told me it was all ok and not signs of anything. She really thinks the strep will come back today as positive. I hope not. I hope we can get through a few more weeks without anyone being sick so I can accrue some vacation time again.
Ella also wants to know why I am typing her name. So hi from Ella. We are going to go take her temp - even though her head feels good.
