What is an Ancestor Mom?

That was Ella's question today on the way to school.

I told her that it was family that came before us like Great Great Grandparents and such.

Elizabeth then asked if they have any. 

And I told her You Bet.  You have your Chinese Ancestors as well as the ones from our family from Grandpa and Grandma's sides of our family.

Elizabeth then said Wow, we have alot then Ella and I. 

She said they have ancestors from their foster families, their regular family and this one. 

I said that I think we are the regular family since we are the one that is forever and she said Yup... I meant my birth family.

I like when we can bring up their Chinese families in regular conversation so we always talk about it.
