High School Post 2

We are moving along in our HS selections.

We have removed one Catholic HS from the list because transportation is just too much of a hassle.  I feel bad about that because it is a great school but I don't want Elizabeth on the city bus for the length of time needed to make it work.  And as a one parent family, my work schedule would be impacted by the changes and so we had to eliminate that one.

We submitted the application for the other Catholic HS last week.

Today I submitted the online application for the public HS just outside our neighborhood.  The one in our hood is good too but so large and Elizabeth has gymnastic friends at the other.

I will be mailing in the other application this week for the other Catholic HS.

With all the school hopping we had to do, Elizabeth is looking forward to being at  a place from the beginning with everyone else on the same playing field.  Bummer middle school / 6th grade didn't work but it was an out of control situation that made getting an education tough.  That is why we worked so hard in finding a good school that E liked that I liked as well so we could find the spot for her to be for the next 4 years.
