Tomorrow I go back to work. I really appreciate having this time off. Ella is at daycare this afternoon and went yesterday afternoon as well. We talked about playing with her friends and how Ella will say Bye Momma and No Crying. She did great yesterday. Today she did great at first but I needed to fill Beth in on the doctor appointment so I stayed too long. Plus it was close to Ella's nap time. So, I left so she could be without me.
Elizabeth has been amazing. Yesterday I picked her up first and will do the same today. They have been so good that we went to the Dollar Store and they each got to pick out some stuff. Not sure why, but Elizabeth loves the Dollar Store.
Elizabeth has done great with all these changes but last Thursday (our first full day home from the hospital), Elizabeth said she was sick. She had a sore throat and stuffy, sneezy nose. So she stayed home with us. It wasn't a lot of fun for her because Ella was still crabby at times then. Friday came and Elizabeth went to school.
Yesterday afternoon, I was able to get some things done. One of the most important was to finally get Ella's social security card. I can't believe so much time has gone by without me doing that. But, that is all done. After that I went shopping without kids. That was a blessing. My dad's microwave had died so I was able to go shop for one at Target without distractions. I also found leotards on sale. They are rarely on sale so both girls got one. After Target I brought Dad his new microwave. He was happy. Now he can have hot coffee again outside of the meal times. After that I picked up Elizabeth and then we went to daycare. Then it was the trip to the Dollar Store and then home. Both girls were very happy to have the new leotards on. Bummer but I didn't take a picture.
Today we brought Elizabeth to school and then I took Ella to get her hair cut. We squeezed that in before her doctor appointment. Its super cute and she is showing some attitude. Then we went to the appointment and got the good news. I was going to take her to Mc Donalds to celebrate but she is still on soft type foods so we came home and had lunch. Then off to daycare. Before I get Elizabeth I am going to pick up some stuff for supper and then bring the girls home. Hope all is well with everyone!

Friday morning before school. Now that I see Elizabeth's face, I really understand the meltdown after school. She sure looks tired.

Ella's new Hairdo. Can't wait for Elizabeth to see her. I didn't tell Elizabeth that Ella was getting her hair cut today.
