Laid Back Saturday

The two girls are up in my bed watching Mulan on the portable DVD player. I am hoping that the next time I check on them, they will be sleeping.

We are spending a laid back Saturday at home. We were invited to a Almost Spring Party at Micky and Franks. Kathy now has the place next door to them as well. They are all near Balsam Lake Wi. I was going to bring the girls but decided we needed to have more down time. Elizabeth was over tired last night after school and Ella didn't sleep great. They both are doing very well today though.

Todd came over to work on my car and the girls got all dressed in their outdoor attire and played in the backyard while he was taking the window washer tube out. I guess the reason it stopped working was that the tube was falling apart. $5.00 later and I now have working window washing capabilities again. Thanks again Todd!

Later the girls and I are going to run to the grocery store for a couple more "soft" food choices as well as items for breakfast tomorrow. We are taking Dad to church tomorrow morning and coming back here for breakfast. That way I can make something soft for Ella. We are all looking forward to the doctor saying she is all better and can be back on most foods. She really scarfed down the soup today and then had two helpings of apple sauce. Todd also brought them each a Frosty from Wendy's. But, that soft stuff just doesn't stick to your ribs like meat and potatoes can.

I thought I heard some fighting upstairs but they must have resolved it. I may need to check on them because Ella really does need a nap. She has been taking 2-3 hour naps daily since we got home so she needs to sleep today too.

Update
I went up to check on the girls and Ella had the tell tale orange Doritos dust around her mouth. I guess the girls found my bag I had left up there. Bad Mommy. I checked Ella's mouth and all seems fine. She even said Sorry. :-)

Ella is now sleeping. Elizabeth is chilling downstairs with me. Time for me to do some laundry and toy pickup. Glad I suggested tomorrow for Mass cuz there is no way Ella would be awake in an hour for 4:30 Mass.
