It was our first birthday together.
I sang to her when I woke her - I swear this picture is before I started singing.
Elizabeth made Ella a wonderful card and wanted to give Ella her presents this morning. It made me late to work but what the heck, it was our first birthday with Ella - whats 30 minutes late in the grand scheme of things? So we sang to her again and opened presents.
With Spring Break this week both girls are at Daycare together. Elizabeth walked in first and said "Someone turned 3 today!" That started the party. I didn't have treats and didn't want to push it with work so I waited until lunch time to run and get her cake. I also picked up a sweet balloon. The cake was delicious. I had two pieces after dinner tonight.
An added present for Ella was the winter snow storm!
An even better present was that Michelle and Malia became a family today! Happy Family Day Michelle!
