Ella wanted part of the Co Pay action

Last night or more accurately, this morning about 1 am, Ella threw up again. It took a little bit of time to get her cleaned up as well as her pillow. Thankfully that is all she hit. We both got back to sleep and I called in sick today. I was able to get Ella in early for the doctor. Her oxygen level was good as well as her temp. Her lungs and ears were clear and her heart rate was good. My doctor's office really listens to me and I really appreciate that. I figured it was viral and a cold/cough that would not go away. so, they prescribed antibiotics. We got it in a lovely grape/bubble gum flavor and Ella even said nummy. This afternoon Ella took a very long nap. She slept for almost 3 hours. I slept for about 45 minutes.

Here's hoping she is back to her normal self soon. She has lost a tiny bit of weight. She weighed in at 31.4 today. I believe she was 32 lbs when she had her surgery in Feb. I'll be very happy when Ella is back to her normal eating habits. But, she is drinking fine so she is not getting dehydrated. The doctor said she thought Ella would be better by the weekend. That's a good thing because we are having Elizabeth's 6th Birthday Party on Saturday. That is hard to believe.

Update:
Elizabeth had fallen asleep on the big chair in the living room. When I took off the blanket to bring her upstairs, she started talking in her sleep. It was in chinese. She opened her eyes for a second and went right back to sleep. Wonder if she was telling me she was cold? I'll have to tell her teacher that the imersion seems to be working for her. :-)
