This was the first time Elizabeth wanted to carve pumpkins. The last few years she didn't want to mar the outside of her perfect pumpkins. I can't believe she actually touched the pumpkin goop.
I love both girls expressions here. Thanks Todd for helping us.
Here is Ella's first look inside her pumpkin. Not very excited. :-)

The finished results - I did the cutting on Elizabeth's but she punched the holes in the corners for starting points. Ella wanted Todd to do her Cat Pumpkin. I got the good end of that deal. Todd did a great job!
I love this picture. When I took it I was not impressed but now I like it so much I have it as my wallpaper on my PC at work.
The girls really enjoyed hamming it up with their pumpkins.
Elizabeth is doing a dance move here from Chinese dance where all they do is move their head. So that is why I have two shots of her with her pumpkin.
Elizabeth loves her kitty cat.
Todd invited us to go to his work on Thursday night. They had an October Fest with alot of kids stuff. The girls did the fishing game, jumped in the air jump, did the fish pond and Elizabeth did the basketball toss. She got her ball in the hoop on the first try. Way to go. Then they saw the face painters. Elizabeth wore her Chinese dress and was a Chinese Princess... she sure was:
Ella was Sleeping Beauty and felt every inch pretty. The smile makes my heart glow. Just a year and a half with us and how happy she is. Man... I am humbled.
When it was time for bed Ella decided she wanted to wear her day time dress again.. I said sure. But, when I wanted to clean off her painted face she wasn't too keen on that idea. So, I suggested taking another picture so we remember what it looked like. So she snuggled in with Todd and gave another wonderful smile. But, when I wiped off her face, she was very sad for a long time. I thought I had her calmed down and was rocking with her in the rocker in her room when she said she wanted Todd. So, he came up and sat with her while I helped Elizabeth get ready for bed.
One last picture of Elizabeth's painted face.
Happy Halloween Everyone. Enjoy the Candy.
This morning Ella asked if we are going Trick or Treating after breakfast. Wonder what she will do when its really time.

They both look adorable... and it looks like Ella was a REAL Sleeping Beauty. The Tongginator decided tonight that she, too, was a Sleeping Beauty, despite her lack of a pink dress. LOL.
Go pumpkin carvers! Nice job!
Just beautiful looks like the girls had tons of fun :-)
Hugs
