Oh What a BEAUTIFUL Day!

Elizabeth woke early and asked 3 times if we could start getting ready. We didn't have to be at church until 9:30 but she wanted to make sure she wasn't late.

We got dressed and for the first time we were early to something. We even had time that the girls could play on the playground. Don't worry - I only let them do the Monkey Bars - no slides or tunnels for the dressed up princesses

Elizabeth had been saying she didn't want to wear her veil. I did talk her into it for the professional photo but we took one shot without too. After all the kids had their individual photos done, they did a group shot.

This group is the 2nd graders from the school as well as the kids from Faith Formation. The Faith Formation kids had great teachers and teacher assistants. My cousin's daughter was one of the volunteers. We loved getting to know Sarah better and we were very glad that she was able to join us at our house after.
I will be checking with Grandma Jo to get copies of some of the pictures she took. I tried to get Elizabeth to go on the altar for a picture alone but she was not in the mood. But, Grandma has the touch. She also has a picture with the girls on her camera.

Elizabeth had close friends and wonderful family here today to celebrate with her. Uncle Kevin and Aunt Doreen picked up Dad. Grandma Jo and Uncle Jerry also made the drive. And Todd celebrated with us as well. Sydney and Beth stopped by and said Hi too. At home Reenie and Cindy were getting the food ready. Mary stopped by as well. Thanks to my wonderful Family and Awesome Friends for all the help and fellowship. Love you all.

Elizabeth you did a wonderful job today and you made us all proud. Grandma Grace was there in spirit for all of us and being with Dad was a beautiful gift.
