Interesting title don't you think?
We need to thank Todd for that one.
Ella has had an issue or two with a boy in her class. A little over a week ago, I got a call from one of the administrators at the girls' school. Ella would be coming home with an injury report. She was scratched by one of the boys. Ella is ok and I think the school has handled it great. But, the boy is still bothering Ella. I have brought that up to the school and they are making changes to help ease the situation. I don't think the boy is a bully or doing it to be mean. I wonder if he has a crush on Ella. But, she is not enjoying it. So... last week I was able to go out to Happy Hour with coworkers because our awesome friend Todd was able to pick up my girls from school and take them home for supper. I guess he heard all about the boy and the newest adventure. The boy isn't touching Ella, just coming close or not moving or who knows what else. But, Todd told the girls to look at the boy with Hairy Eye Ball face.
I love that idea. They are not using mean words or hitting back, but they have a tool to get the message across.
So far, no Hairy Eye Ball has been needed. But, we still practice it to make sure they remember.
I'll get a picture soon.
Here is Elizabeth showing "The Hairy Eyeball"
