Ella

I was just talking to Ella about her feelings.  A new child is coming home soon for one of the families that are part of Elizabeth's travel group.  Ella has been worried about being replaced in our group of friends.  I said they will all still love you and can't wait to be with you when we go back to China.  That got Ella talking.  She said she was getting scared about going to China.  What scares you?  The big bridge. There is a huge bridge in Wuhan. When 35W collapsed a couple of years back she was mesmerized by it.  Now she is worried about the big bridge in Wuhan.  I asked why the bridge scared her.  Her first mom took her to the bridge and she almost fell.  She was in a stroller that was red with hearts.  Her first mom had two other children according to Ella.  She had an older sister and brother.  I think Ella was saying the sister was 9 and the boy was between them.  She then said her second mom took her for a walk all over China but carried her until it was time for me to take her.

Last night Ella and I were talking more about Wuhan.

She was trying to remember her Foster Sister's name  Wu Ping but that  wasn't right either.  She said, she has 3 names.  Then Ella was talking about the bad men on the bridge and were they gone now Mom?  I tried to reassure her but then Ella said that the men lived along time ago and were just statutes.  I am wondering if she was scared by statutes once and is thinking of that when she thinks of the bridge.
