Elizabeth gymnastic coach sent a group email this morning:
Level 4 Parents,
Now that the gymnasts and coaches have adjusted to the new schedule and coaching staff in Level 4, we feel it is time to officially break the group into “group 1” and “group 2”. If you are receiving this email, we feel your gymnast is ready to join the more advanced group: “group 2”.

In the afternoon I received an email from Ella's speech therapist at school:
Hi Joan,
Ella has asked me to share what she told me about her trip to China this past summer. I wrote down what she said and then we worked on today's target sounds (the vocalic R sounds) of the words in her own sentences:
- I hugged a panda.
- I bought a teddy bear panda, but I forgot where (I bought it).
- I didn't get to see my foster family but my sister did.
- I got to see my orphanage director (in Wuhan) and he is a doctor, too.
She accurately wrote the characters for "Wuhan" for me. I am very please with her work today. She worked really hard on the target sound, which are challenging for her at this time. However, she is showing good progress.

Good job Elizabeth and Ella. Your hard work is noticeable by many people and not just by me. Love you!
