One day last week Elizabeth hit Ella. I didn't like it and told her she better not do it again or she was grounded from her ipod touch. I know she was tired but it never ok to hit - this is what I have told my girls always. Well Saturday Elizabeth did it again. She got grounded. Then Ella misbehaved. I don't even remember what she did. But I guess I was tired and I gave her a spanking. With a strong voice Ella started to ask me something but stopped. I asked her to continue. So she did. Mom... if its not ok for Elizabeth to hit me, why is ok if you do it? Gulp... I had already had that same thought. I told her I was wrong and I was sorry. And since I couldn't ground myself, I took Elizabeth's grounding away. I am proud of Ella for standing up for herself. She has come a long way and I also thank you for reminding me the right way to be.
